Story Title: Missing Member of my Chosen Family
By: Becky Cecrle
Imagine my surprise when I hadn’t seen Patty for quite some time and I am watching WTHR morning show and they are doing a charitable donation for the 911 Memorial. First I see this beautiful hand and I immediately think “that’s Patty” and they pan to the person in the car and indeed it is Patty. We have wonderful memories of the time spent at our house raising the kids and sharing many dinners, drinks and laughter. We will miss your fun nature and the way you filled a room with your zest for life. You will be missed at the girls’ gatherings and especially the Big Mac song. Rest in peace and know that we will keep Tony safe in your absence.

I’m devasted by this loss. Patty has been an amazing woman who I truley enjoyed working with. I can’t imagine what her family loved ones are going thru and my prayers are with you all. God obviously has a plan for Patty and I’m sad she was taken too early from us bu have to trust that his plan has more purpose for her in heaven.

I will miss Patty and her exuberance for life. Patty made me happy just being around her and i never left her without laughing about something. Heaven is a much happier place with Patty there now.

I am so sorry to hear of Patty’s passing. I remember her as such a pretty and kind person. My sister, Terri, attended dances and was in high school clubs with Patty. God bless all of you during this difficult time and always.

    To Patty’s Family:

Patty was my Indianapolis Star rep in the late 90’s and we shared a love for Harley Davidsons. We rode together and I always enjoyed her enthusiasm and her company. Patty was a joy to be around and I appreciated being able to do business with someone I called “friend”.

Please know that you are in my prayers and that you are comforted by God’s peace that passes all understanding.

I had the wonderful opportunity to know Patty as a co-worker and close fried. I thought of little else this week…..laughing at moments remembering some of the greatest times of my life with her! Patty was always enthusiastic, fun and full of life – a true pleasure to spend time with. She will be missed by many. My thoughts and heart are with Tony and her family. God Bless, Gail Collins

Patty was the most daring of us all, she took me to my first concert while she sat for me and my sister Cindy. Her lust for life and her true love of life will always be an inspuration for me.To say I will miss her is an under statement, I will always regret that I missed so much time with her and her family. All of my Love to you all, and a Big Family Hug. I will miss you Cuz.

I am very sad that we won’t be able to share the rest of our lives together, Patty. Our friendship was short, but I feel that I’ve known you for forever. We shared our troubles; we laughed, we ate, we watched our Bravo channels together; we talked about life and were always there for each other with support. You were my soul mate and feel I only began to know you. Your soul was kind, smart and important…and I will miss you for the rest of my life. You were loved, Patty…rest in peace.

We are very shocked and saddened to hear about our old neighbor’s death. Just found out about it while traveling to Florida. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Myer Clan, and the O’Leary Clan will always cherish the many good memories we shared as backyard neighbors. May God be with you Patty.
